B2B Marketing 2021

What we can learn from China, TikTok and Influencers

The best way for B2B companies to reach their audience is no longer through exhibitions or trade journals - it’s through content marketing on social media. B2B customers are like regular people - they hate advertising but love informative and entertaining content. Content marketing works especially well for complex and more expensive products: it gives marketers more opportunity to educate customers and to build a trusted relationship by demonstrating their expertise.

But in order to communicate effectively online, marketers need to become skilled at a number of different social media disciplines - like becoming a business influencer on LinkedIn, livestreaming, podcasting or even doing TikToks.

In this talk, we will also learn about the big consumer trends happening in Silicon Valley and China (e.g. real time retail, instant delivery and group buying), what they mean for B2C companies and how this changes the way we do B2B marketing.
